📖 The report

Questions your Class 9 report answers

  • Where is my child's thinking naturally strong?
  • Is their reasoning ahead of, at, or growing toward class level?
  • Which kinds of problems frustrate them — and why?

⚙️ How it works

How does the Class 9 IQ Assessment work?

In the Class 9 paper you answer 91 questions, with a break midway — every one written and normed for Class 9. Each question lands in one of six zones:

How it works

  • 🧩 Pattern recognition. You spot the rule in a grid of shapes and complete it.
  • 🔗 Sequential reasoning. You work out what comes next in a series — and why.
  • 👁️ Visual discrimination. You catch the one detail that is different.
  • 🔢 Numerical reasoning. Logic with numbers — not board-exam maths.
  • 🧊 Spatial reasoning. You turn and fold shapes in your head.
  • 🧠 Working memory. You hold what you just saw and use it a moment later.

The five reasoning zones count about equally; working memory adds roughly half a zone's share. Together they become your strengths profile — honest ranges, never a single label.

Every parameter we measure

The Class 9 paper draws every question from these same six zones — the parameters never change by class, only the level does.

🧩 Pattern recognition

In the report: Abstract Reasoning

  • Matrix grids
  • Find the rule
  • Complete the figure

🔗 Sequential reasoning

In the report: Logical Reasoning

  • What comes next
  • Series logic
  • Step-by-step thinking

👁️ Visual discrimination

In the report: Visual Perception

  • Spot the difference
  • The odd detail out
  • Fine-detail checks

🔢 Numerical reasoning

In the report: Numerical Reasoning

  • Number patterns
  • Number sense, not speed
  • Typed answers, no options

🧊 Spatial reasoning

In the report: Spatial Reasoning

  • Mental rotation
  • Folding shapes
  • Picturing in 3D

🧠 Working memory

In the report: Working Memory

  • Digit span
  • Grid recall
  • Path recall

Every zone runs from easy to very hard, and each class paper draws its own fixed share from every level — so two students in the same class always face an equally hard paper.

🎯 Why this class

Why a Class 9 student should take the IQ Assessment

Two years of syllabus start now.

Your 91-question Class 9 profile shapes how you study for both years — the same profile in Class 10 can only fix the second one.

You can already feel what you are good at. This names it.

One of six zones, in plain words you can use, with the likely range it sits in rather than a single figure.

Board prep is a method question before it is an hours question.

The report tells you whether you learn faster by pattern, by sequence, by picturing it or by rehearsing it — then builds 30 days of practice around the weakest zone.

📦 What you walk away with: all six zones ranked with the strongest named first, an honest likely range on the standard IQ scale and where it sits on the bell curve, the formal table a school can read, a zone-by-zone map with practice ideas, a 30-day workout, a page for parents and one for the counsellor, and a certificate with a serial anyone can verify.

🗓️ When & why

When should a Class 9 student take the IQ Assessment?

Does this sound familiar?

🎒The student

Coaching starts at four, homework ends at eleven — and you still don’t know if you’re studying the right way.

The profile shows how you actually reason — which zones carry you, which need drills — so the two-year plan is built on you, not on the coaching brochure.

👨‍👩‍👧A parent

“Hours at the desk every evening. Marks flat since the year began.”

Effort is not the problem. The six-zone profile shows whether the method needs to change — and which zone to change it for.

🧑‍🏫A counsellor / teacher

“Thirty Class 9s, one period, and ‘should I join coaching?’ from every desk.”

Run the paper for the batch and you have a profile per student — group them, plan a study-skills session per zone, and brief parents with a page they can read.

The right moments

🎒 Start of the board run

Two years of syllabus ahead — plan how you study, not just how much. The profile shows which methods will stick.

🎓 Before committing to coaching

Coaching eats your week. Check what your reasoning profile says you need before you sign two years away.

🏆 When picking your competitions

Olympiads, quizzes, coding contests — choose the two that play to your strongest zones instead of entering everything.

⏱️ Why now, not later: two years of syllabus start now. A profile in Class 9 shapes how you study for both years — in Class 10 it only fixes the second.

Once a year is enough. The report compares you only with their own earlier result — never with other students.

Once a year is enough. Next year's paper is drawn from a different set of questions for Class 10, and the report compares your child only with their own earlier result — never with a sibling or classmate.
