⚙️ How it works

How does the Class 9 21st Century Life Skills Assessment work?

The Class 9 paper gives you 60 questions — real situations, best-answer checks and honest “that’s me” questions. There are no wrong answers. Each question lands in one of four skill areas:

How it works

  • 🧠 Cognitive Skills. How you think things through — decisions, problems, and checking what you hear before believing it.
  • 🤝 Interpersonal Skills. How you work with people — teaming up, leading, adjusting when plans change, getting your ideas across.
  • 💪 Intrapersonal Skills. How you handle yourself — empathy, bounce-back, starting things and sticking with them.
  • 💻 Digital Skills. How smartly you live online — spotting fake content, finding trustworthy information, staying safe.

Each area holds four skills — 16 in all, each scored 0 to 100. The strongest area becomes your strongest area, named in plain words.

🎯 Why this class

Why a Class 9 student should take the 21st Century Life Skills Assessment

Marks stop being the whole story.

Your marksheet never scores Decision Making, Leadership or Resilience & Coping — this does, on 16 separate scales.

Stream talk starts this year.

Knowing which of the four skill areas is your strongest is one solid input into a conversation everyone else is guessing at.

Two board years are ahead of you.

Persistence & Grit and Resilience & Coping are the two skills those years will actually assessment — see them before the pressure does.

You walk away with: your strongest of the four skill areas named in plain words, all 16 skills on one amber-to-green scale, one named strength and one focus area, six growth activities sized for Class 9, a page for your parents and one for your teacher — and a certificate with a verification code.

🗓️ When & why

When should a Class 9 student take the 21st Century Life Skills Assessment?

Does this sound familiar?

🎒The student

The workload doubled and you're doing everything at 11 pm — starting late, not finishing, starting again.

Resilience, initiative and grit are scored on their own. The report shows which one's actually slipping — and the small fix that helps most.

👨‍👩‍👧A parent

Marks held, but the sport was dropped, the club was dropped, and the door stays shut.

Coping and persistence get their own scores. You'll see how the workload is landing on them — and what to do that isn't 'study more'.

🧑‍🏫A counsellor / teacher

Thirty Class 9s, one period, and the board-year pressure already showing on half the desks.

Class-wide resilience and decision-making patterns tell you who to check on first, and give you a session plan and a parent brief before Class 10 starts.

The right moments

⛰️ The workload jump

Class 9 hits harder than Class 8 — grit and resilience decide how the year feels.

⏳ Before the board-year machine

Work on your focus area now. Class 10 leaves no room for it.

📰 Your feed is louder than ever

Media literacy is a real score here, not a lecture — find out if you can actually spot the fakes.

Why now, not later: Class 10 leaves no room for building skills. Named this year, a focus area gets twelve months of practice before the board year needs it.

Once a year is enough. You're compared only with your own last score — never with anyone else.

🌱 The wheel

🤔 Parents ask

Class 9 Life Skills assessment — straight answers

How many questions are in the Class 9 Life Skills assessment?

60, in four short sections — how you think, you and people, you and yourself, your digital world. They are real situations (what would you do?), best-answer checks and honest “that’s me” ratings — more situational-judgement scenarios than the middle classes. The first 15 are free with no card; the rest unlock with the full assessment.

Is the Class 9 Life Skills assessment timed?

There is a friendly timer of about 45 minutes (45 seconds a question) that pauses between sections. If it runs out the assessment does not stop — the student just gets a gentle “wrap up” nudge.

Can a Class 9 student take the Life Skills assessment alone?

Yes — it is built to be taken alone on a phone or laptop. Progress saves automatically, so it can be finished in a second sitting if needed. There is nothing to prepare and nothing to revise.

Are there right and wrong answers? Is there a score?

No wrong answers, and no marks or ranks. The report gives a skills strongest skill area named in plain words, an overall level from Emerging to Advanced, and a 16-skill wheel — a growth snapshot, not a grade.

What does the Class 9 report contain?

Your archetype and overall level, the 21st Century Life Skills & Learning Wheel across 4 areas and 16 skills, a close-up of each skill, a growth plan of activities, a short note each for parents and teachers, and a downloadable PDF with a certificate.

How often should a Class 9 student retake it?

Once a year. The app keeps one result per class year; take it again next year and the report adds a skills-journey chart showing what has changed.
