Six skills — English, speaking, listening, reading non-verbal cues, body language & voice, connecting with people — measured separately, because most children are strong in some and silent in others. Marks never show which is which. This does. psychometrictest.ai by CareerGuide.com

🎯 What it measures
Vocabulary, grammar, getting the meaning.
Saying it clearly, out loud.
Understanding what was actually said.
Noticing what isn't said out loud.
How you come across when you speak.
Starting, keeping and repairing conversations.
📖 The report
The child gets strengths. You get actions. Schools get the numbers.
👨👩👧 Who it's for
Many "shy" children are strong listeners and writers. The profile shows the strength behind the silence — and what to build next.
Vivas, GDs, interviews are coming. Know which skill needs reps while there's still time to build it.
Built on 15 years of counselling practice. More than 2,500 career counsellors across India use CareerGuide.com assessments daily. India class-level norms; fairness-reviewed items; DPDP-compliant.

⚙️ How it works
How it works
Six communication skills, measured separately — some with scored questions, some with honest self-checks, plus a Listening Lab with real audio.
🧪 From Class 6 up, optional 🎙️ Speaking and 🎥 Presence Labs add real recordings — checked on the device, then deleted. Nothing is uploaded.
The six scores combine into one communication level out of 100 — and the report shows which skill to work on first.
What the report gives you
Every attempt, every class, reports these same parameters.
🎯 Why this class
English, speaking, listening, reading non-verbal cues, body language and connecting with people are scored separately — so “good at English” stops standing in for “good at communicating”.
Reading faces, pauses and tone, and the signals a student sends back, get their own scores — the half of communicating that school never grades.
The Listening Lab plays a real passage and asks what was heard; from Class 6 the mic and video labs measure real pace, pauses and presence. Checked on the device, then deleted.
Every attempt ends with one communication level out of 100, all six skills scored, the strongest skill and the first one to grow, lab results, a practice plan, separate notes for parents and teachers, a comparison with their own last score, and a certificate with a verifiable serial.
🗓️ When & why
Does this sound familiar?
👨👩👧A parent
Knows the answer, won’t raise a hand.Six skills scored separately — words, speaking, listening, reading faces, body language, connecting — so you see which one is holding the hand down.
🧑🏫A counsellor / teacher
The debate team picks itself from the same five kids every year.Screen a whole class in one period. Find the strong listeners and room-readers nobody has heard yet, and plan tryouts from a profile, not a habit.
🎒The student
You know exactly what to say — until someone is looking at you.The assessment tells you whether that is confidence, structure or voice. Then you work on one thing, not “communication”.
The right moments
A clear baseline before the year gets busy — any class from 3 to 12.
A PTM remark or a report-card line. The profile shows what sits behind the silence — and what to build.
Vivas, group discussions and interviews arrive in Classes 8–12. Build the weaker skill while there is still time.
Why now, not later: a skill found this year gets a full year of calm practice. Found next year, it competes with exams.
Honestly: once a year is enough. Every retake is compared with the student’s own last score — never with other children.

📄 The report
Numbers where numbers help, plain words everywhere else. The Communication Report speaks to three readers — the student, the parent and the teacher — ends with what to do next, and carries a certificate with a verifiable serial.
A single score with its level name in plain words — what it means, and what it does not mean. Page one, in under a minute.
All six scores placed where they happen — eyes read cues, ears listen, the mouth speaks, posture carries you — so the picture lands before the numbers do.
Three of the six skills had a right or best answer. Three are the student’s own view. The report always says which — a self-rating never reads as a measurement.
One strength worth saying out loud, and one area for this year — with what you’ll notice when it shows up. Never a label, never a rank.
What was actually heard in the Listening Lab, and real pace, pauses and filler words from the Speaking Lab when it was taken.
Activities chosen for the student’s class and weighted to the weakest skills, plus a separate note for home and one for the classroom.
🤔 Parents ask
It depends on the class: 32 questions in Class 3, rising to 74 in Class 12 (e.g. Class 6 has 52, Class 9 has 64). Every class has its own paper across the same six skills, plus a Listening Lab with a story read aloud.
Softly. A friendly countdown allows about 45 seconds a question — it warns when time is up but never submits for you. Most students finish in around 20–30 minutes.
Live checks added to the paper by class: the Listening Lab (all classes) reads a short passage aloud and asks three questions; the Speaking Lab (Class 6+) records short spoken tasks on the mic; the Presence Lab (Class 8+, beta) records one video answer the student rates themselves. Every lab can be skipped.
Yes — the full assessment and the report open without a card and there are no locked questions. The pricing below covers the report-explanation session and the Complete Profile bundle.
English, Reading non-verbal cues and Connecting with people are scored; Speaking, Listening and Body language & voice are honest self-checks with no right answer. The report gives one communication level out of 100 and six skill scores — never a rank or a comparison with other children.
DPDP-compliant. Speaking and video recordings stay on the device — the Presence Lab video is deleted and only the self-ratings are kept. Signing in is optional and only used to save the report for next year's comparison.
