⏰ Why Class 6
Middle school is when styles and interests stabilise — the first trustworthy signal.
A dip usually means method mismatch, not ability. This shows which one.
Their version is encouraging language only — never a rank or comparison.
🎯 What it measures
Getting a thought out clearly, in their own words
Understanding what they hear — scored partly by the Listening Lab
Words, grammar and reading sense
Noticing faces, tone and the room
How they come across when they speak
Starting, joining and holding a conversation

Communication Assessment — coming soon ➜⚙️ How it works
How it works
In the Class 6 paper, 52 quick questions cover six skills — some scored, some honest self-checks.
🧪 From Class 6, an optional 🎙️ Speaking Lab too — read aloud, answer one question; the device checks pace and pauses, then deletes the audio.
The six scores combine into one communication level out of 100 — and the report shows which skill to work on first.
What the report gives you
The parameters are the same for every class — the Class 6 paper simply asks at Class-6 level.
🎯 Why this class
Group projects and presentations start now — and the report says which of the six skills decides who ends up holding the chart and who presents.
From Class 6 an optional mic task measures real pace, pauses and filler words. It is checked on the device and then deleted — nothing is uploaded.
A skill named in Class 6 gets practised before the class quietly decides who the talkers are.
You walk away with one communication level out of 100, all six skills scored separately, the strongest skill and the first one to grow, lab results when taken, a practice plan, separate notes for parents and teachers, and a certificate with a verifiable serial.
🗓️ When & why
Does this sound familiar?
👨👩👧A parent
New school, new bus, new friends — and you hear about none of it.Connecting with People and Speaking are scored separately from settling in. The report shows what is a skill gap and what is just Class 6.
🧑🏫A counsellor / teacher
First group project: one child presents, three hold the chart.Six scores per child, plus the Speaking Lab’s pace and pauses. Assign presenting by growth area, not habit — and show parents the profile.
🎒The student
You had the perfect answer — ten seconds after the teacher moved on.That is speaking under pressure, and the assessment scores it apart from what you know. You find out if it is confidence or structure, and fix that one.
The right moments
New subjects, new teachers, more speaking in class — a Class 6 baseline shows what to build first.
Group projects and class presentations begin now. Better to find the shaky skill in a assessment than in front of the class.
From Class 6 the optional Speaking Lab adds a real read-aloud — checked on the device, audio deleted.
Why now, not later: in Class 6 nobody has a reputation yet. By Class 7 the class has decided who the talkers are.
Honestly: retake once a year. The report tracks growth against their own last attempt only — no comparison with anyone else.

🤔 Parents ask
Softly. A friendly countdown allows about 45 seconds a question — it warns when time is up but never submits for you. Plan for about 30 minutes in one sitting; progress is not saved part-way.
52: English 14, Speaking 8, Listening 7, Reading non-verbal cues 10, Body language & voice 8, Connecting with people 5. Then the Listening Lab and the Speaking Lab — a story read aloud with three questions, short spoken tasks recorded on the mic.
Only for the Speaking Lab. Any phone or laptop mic works. If they skip it or the browser denies permission, the assessment carries on and the report marks the lab as skipped. Recordings stay on the device.
English, Reading non-verbal cues and Connecting with people are scored; Speaking, Listening and Body language & voice are honest self-checks with no right answer. The report gives a level out of 100 and six skill scores — never a rank or a class comparison.
One communication level out of 100, all six skills with what to do next, the strongest skill and the first one to grow, lab results, a practice plan, and separate notes for parents and teachers. Print or save it as a PDF; a certificate and a share card are included.
Once a year. On a retake the report adds a journey page comparing this year with their own last attempt — never with classmates or siblings.
