Communication Assessment — coming soon ➜⚙️ How it works
How it works
In the Class 4 paper, your child answers 35 short, friendly questions across six skills — no wrong answers on the self-check parts.
The six scores combine into one communication level out of 100 — and the report shows which skill to help with first.
What the report gives you
The parameters are the same for every class — the Class 4 paper simply asks at Class-4 level.
🎯 Why this class
The report names which of the six sits behind it: words, listening, reading faces, confidence, body language or connecting with people.
Class 4 work moves from one-word answers to telling and explaining, so Speaking & Expressing is scored on clarity, structure and word choice — not on volume.
If Class 3 flagged a quiet skill, this year’s six scores sit beside last year’s. Never against the class, never a rank.
You walk away with one communication level out of 100, all six skills scored separately, your child’s strongest skill and the first one to grow, a practice plan of age-right activities, separate notes for you and the class teacher, and a printable certificate.
🗓️ When & why
Does this sound familiar?
👨👩👧A parent
Tells you the whole cartoon plot in one breath — no beginning, no end.Speaking & Expressing is scored on clarity and structure, separately from confidence. The report says which one to build, and how.
🧑🏫A counsellor / teacher
The same four hands go up in every lesson. The other twenty-six know the answer too.See who is quiet from confidence, who from language, who from listening. Plan pair-talk by profile; brief parents with something real.
🧒Your child
Interrupts every story to add their own.Listening is scored on letting others finish and follow-up questions. The report shows whether it is excitement or not-hearing — and one home game for it.
The right moments
A calm baseline before the year fills up — short, friendly, nothing to fail.
One year of practice later — see what actually moved.
“Participates little” on a report card is a clue, not a verdict. This shows the full picture.
Why now, not later: in Class 4 the gap between talkers and thinkers is still small. Next year, teachers start calling on the talkers.
Honestly: once a year is enough. Growth is compared with your child’s own last score — never with other children.

🤔 Parents ask
Mostly, with you nearby. The Class 4 paper uses short questions and three smiley answers (Not really · Sometimes · Yes, that's me!). The Listening Lab reads a story aloud, so the device needs sound on. Sit beside them for the first few questions, then let them go.
Softly. A friendly countdown allows about 45 seconds a question — it warns when time is up but never submits for you. Plan for about 30 minutes in one sitting; progress is not saved part-way.
35: English 9, Speaking 5, Listening 5, Reading non-verbal cues 7, Body language & voice 5, Connecting with people 4. Then the Listening Lab — a story read aloud with three questions.
English, Reading non-verbal cues and Connecting with people are scored — but on understanding, not marks. Speaking, Listening and Body language & voice are self-checks with no right answer. The report never shows a rank or a comparison with other children.
One communication level out of 100, all six skills with what to do next, the strongest skill and the first one to grow, lab results, a practice plan, and separate notes for parents and teachers. Print or save it as a PDF; a certificate and a share card are included.
Once a year. On a retake the report adds a journey page comparing this year with their own last attempt — never with classmates or siblings.
